Following two catastrophic natural disasters in quick succession, the Tsunami (2004) Indian Ocean and Hurricane Katrina hitting New Orleans (2005), British inventor Michael Pritchard MBE set out to create a portable water filtration device capable of providing a sustainable source of safe drinking water.
We rotomould the carcass for their jerrycan lifesaver which is used all round the word in natural disaster environments. The company works with the Department for International Trade which stocks their products ready to be used when there is a natural disaster.
We are incredibly proud to be making these products that really do save lives. This simple jerry can - that we make in several colours - is able to make water safe to drink in some of the most poverty-stricken parts of the world. Because the filtration technology is encased in our jerry cans, every one has to be pressure-tested before we ship it to the client. And we’re proud of the hand-finishing we do on these products.
The customer needed a partner who could react quickly to changing demand for their product - a product which is shipped all over the world - and this is an area we believe we excel in.

“RevMo has been one of IconLifesaver’s strategic suppliers for over eight years and has always provided a cost efficient product. Since the water filtration industry experiences many fluctuations in demand for its products, we have always been able to rely on RevMo’s flexibility in being able to react to sudden surges in demand. This flexibility enables IconLifesaver to provide shorter lead times to their customers.”
